Marafiq generates 1060 megawatt power with the help of nine 60 megawatt gas turbine generators and four 130 megawatt steam turbine generators. This power is then transmitted and distributed to Yanbu Industrial city through a high voltage 380 KV and 115 KV switchyards and distributed via a 440 kilometer network of ecologically sensitive underground cables within the Yanbu boundaries.
