Marafiq provides potable water to its community & industrial customers in Jubail & Yanbu Industrial area and process water to industrial customers in Yanbu. Marafiq's desalination plants, through an intricate distillation and condensation process, remove the salt content of seawater, after which the water is treated to produce potable and process water for domestic and industrial use. In addition to Marafiq's own production units, additional requirements are supported by Saline Water Corporation Company (SWCC).

Marafiq ensures that quality of the water meets stringent Environmental Standards and complies with the World Health Organization's Guidelines for the Water Quality.
