Potable Water Source:
SWCC (Saline Water Conversion Corporation)
The Desalinated and treated water supply from SWCC is the major source of the water distributed all over the Jubail Industrial City community & industry.

Facility
DESALINATION PLANT # 1 ( GHUMISAH)
A Marafiq Production Plant, a barge mounted Multi Stage Flush (MSF) distillation process located at Eastern side of EPS (East Pumping Station) close to King Fahad Industrial Port. The Plant is designed to produce a total of 16,000 cubic meters per day.

DESALINATION PLANT # 2
A Marafiq Production Plant with the same process located nearby East Pumping Station & North of the Sea Water Cooling facility. Sea Water supply is their main source of supply for processing. The Plant is designed to produce a total of 32,000 cubic meters per day.

WATER TREATMENT PLANT # 01 & 02
A Reverse Osmosis Plant located along Tareeg - 101 X Tareeg - 174 in East Corridor Area and their source of raw water supply are coming from water wells in East Corridor & North Corridor areas. Reverse Osmosis Plant Process covered three basic stages namely; Pretreatment Facility, R.O Membranes and Post Treatment System. Each R.O. Plant consists of two trains having a designed production capacity of 3,750 cubic meters per day for each train.

WATER TREATMENT PLANT # 3
Another Reverse Osmosis Plant with the same operating principle with WTP #01 and 02, located along Tareeg - 100 going to airport road, the same raw water supply are main source of treated water. Consist of three Blocks with a total designed production capacity of 21,000 cubic meters per day. Two trains have the same designed production capacity of 6,970 cubic meters per day each and the other one is having 7,500 cubic meters per day respectively. Treated Product Water from this plant is pumped out to transmission line delivered to industry and camps.

POTABLE WATER STORAGE TANKS

BULK STORAGE
There are two main bulk storage tank in the distribution system located North West Pumping Station Stage I & II & East Pumping Station. NWPS I & II have eleven tanks with nominal capacity of 95,426 cubic meters each with a total storage capacity of 1,049,686 cubic meters while, East Pumping Station have ten different size of storage with a nominal capacity of 561,988 cubic meters respectively.

LOCAL STORAGE TANKS
Local Storage tanks are those tanks installed at strategic points in community, support, secondary, primary and camps. Water Supply received from main station NWPS I and II, EPS to local storage tanks in each pumping station and pump to serve their respective areas.

PUMPING STATIONS
There are thirty-two (32) Pumping Station installed entire the city & it is categorized into two (2) system of operation. The Manned Pumping Station & Un-manned Pumping Station. The details are as follows;
