Jeddah Althaniya Operation and Maintenance Company (JAOMC) is a Limited Liability Company with a share capital of SAR 300,000. Marafiq is a 49% shareholder and Veolia Middle East has 51%. The main activity of the JAOMC is to operate and maintain the Jeddah Airport 2 Independent Sewage Treatment Plant on a public private partnership basis with Jeddah Al-Thaniya Water Company (JAWC) as its client.

JAOMC will operate the 300,000 cubic meters per day wastewater treatment plant using Nereda® technology. This environmentally friendly plant will use the latest sustainable technology to generate biogas for internal consumption and will be the first plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to dry waste sludge using its own energy source. This new technology will contribute to reducing the plant's environmental footprint in line with Vision 2030.

In accordance with Saudi Arabia’s environmental regulations, the treated water will be suitable for irrigation needs, thus contributing to the preservation of water resources.
