Marafiq is playing its role in supporting and empowering Ras Al Khair Industrial City to become one of the most efficient integrated cities globally through its world-class potable water production and supply services.
To meet the demand for potable water for Ras Al Khair Industrial City, Marafiq imports water from Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and supplies using a pump station consisting of storage tanks and distribution pumps.
Currently, processed and potable water share the same network. Therefore, a new potable water production facility will be constructed in Ras Al Khair Industrial City to improve efficiency.
Marafiq is planning to enhance water production services for Ras Al Khair Industrial City. Through a swapping mechanism from the Jubail water supply agreement with SWCC, Marafiq intends to meet the 27% increased demand during the planning cycle 2022-2023.
