Marafiq is committed to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the company’s Local Content Program, aiming to create in-kingdom value to benefit the national economy and employment while simultaneously improving Marafiq's business efficiency. Marafiq has aligned with the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) and the Ministry of Energy (MOE) to implement strategies that realize the value of localization. Marafiq has taken advanced measures to develop an outsourcing strategy alongside in-house services, centered around this national direction, to achieve the following:

• Implementation of government overall strategy by Working with LCGPA for continuous and strategic partnership.
• Selection of materials specification from local manufacturers in coordination with LCGPA.
• Selection of Contractors/Suppliers having local content program with clear goals and targets for continuous improvement in company tendering process.
• Reduce dependency on Imported Materials/Goods in gradual steps.
• Optimum utilization of local resources.
