President’s Message

Our aim at Marafiq is to meet the growing needs of the residential and industrial cities of Saudi Arabia by delivering market-leading utilities infrastructure that keeps customers connected. The fundamentals of our success lie in line with Saudi Vision 2030. As the Kingdom strives to diversify its economy, we, at Marafiq stand beside our people by enriching their lives with strategic growth and development plans.

Launched in 2018, the Vision 2030 Privatization Program has been an incredible opportunity for Marafiq to introduce itself as a significant power and water utility services provider. The initiative has opened the door for expansion of our regulatory jurisdiction areas by participating in governmental projects and enhancing the Quality of Life in the Kingdom.

Amidst the challenges of the current times, we have multiple ongoing large-scale projects including the expansion of Marafiq’s Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant 8 in Jubail Industrial City. The projects entail an exemplary feat which will increase the supply of water to 125,000 m³ per day. Another one of our most remarkable projects include the construction of an Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) near Jeddah Airport 2. The project will enhance the wastewater treatment capacity to 300,000 m³ per day.

To maintain seamless operations, we believe in building trusted partnerships with our stakeholders. We are extremely grateful for their support and wish to bring prosperity to the Kingdom by working together.
